During Kenny M. Young’s time with Lovett Silverman, his projects have been wide ranging, with a particular emphasis on electrical contracts. They’ve included new construction, rehabilitation, and interior fit-outs in such diverse settings as rapid transit infrastructure and stations, federal research facilities and secure office space, schools/universities, high-rise buildings, hotels, conference centers and health-care/hospital facilities. In addition, Kenny has performed exacting and detailed project analysis and monitoring on several multi-million dollar contracts and subcontracts, and has analyzed and composed numerous construction claims.
Kenny’s responsibilities with Lovett Silverman include evaluation of contractor default situations; preparation of cost-to-complete estimates; project reserve analyses; inspection of defective work; project monitoring; contract administration; and management of construction completion work. His positive energy, organization, and analytical approach to problem solving are among the qualities that make him effective and efficient in his work.
Prior to accepting the consultant position with Lovett-Silverman, Kenny was a project manager for a large specialty contractor. His responsibilities included new project and change order estimation, hands on management, and closeout of diverse electrical and low-voltage projects including the new construction of a 2.5M ft² mix-use complex, fit-out of Class A office spaces, and renovation of secure D.O.D. office spaces.
