Laura A. Guidice is a Registered Architect in New York, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Cost Professional. She has 30 years of diversified construction experience, including construction claims, CPM scheduling, project control and cost engineering, estimating, project management, residential and commercial architectural design, and administration. She specializes in construction claims and CPM scheduling for a broad range of project types, including hi-rise hotels and condominiums, public schools, health care facilities, courthouses, mass transit, commercial offices, wastewater and water treatment plants, correctional facilities, telecommunications, and other public utility projects in the United States. 

Laura’s construction claims experience includes delay and disruption claims, time impact analysis, acceleration claims, errors and omissions claims, and construction defect claims. Laura prepares expert reports and has provided expert testimony in support of same at mediations and arbitrations. Much of Laura’s work involves detailed analysis and interpretation of contemporaneous documentation, including construction drawings, contracts, project schedules, payment requisitions, and job cost reports.   

 Laura’s planning and CPM scheduling experience includes planning during all phases of construction; development of conceptual and construction baseline schedules from document take-offs; planning, creating, and managing cost and resource loaded schedules; conducting monthly progress meetings and on-site inspections focusing on status evaluation; preparation of written progress reports and schedule generated contractor requisitions; preparation of recovery schedules with integrated corrective action and risk identification; project control through earned value analysis; creating as-built schedules from contemporaneous documentation; and the analysis of change order impacts.

Laura also has experience as an architectural project manager, architectural site inspector, and as a construction manager. She has also presented before architectural and zoning review boards, and has testified at arbitrations and depositions. In addition, Laura performs property casualty investigations and prepares replacement cost estimates.
