Stephen Trauth has over twenty-five years of professional environmental consulting experience to include multimedia environmental compliance work regarding a wide range of pollutants/constituents of concern with state regulators and the development of testing protocols for soils, groundwater and surface water. This experience also includes the performance of the identification of solid and hazardous materials, litigation support, and the completion of numerous environmental assessments.
Stephen has experience in solid and hazardous waste management, as well as Title V permitting, air dispersion modeling, compliance, and ground water modeling, including Risk Management Programs. Stephen has experience in water compliance and soils and groundwater remediation. Other work experience has been as lead Health and Safety Officer for Superfund projects in United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Regions 6 and 4, lead meteorologist for air quality issues for Environmental Impact Statements and NEPA compliance. Additional work includes the performance of mold cause and origin investigations, mold remediation protocol design, mold remediation oversight, facility security plans and facility security assessments for homeland security.
Stephen has developed the inspection and remediation protocols in the identification of reactive Chinese drywall in compliance with all Consumer Product Safety Commission and Florida Department of Health. He has also performed clearance evaluation inspections for properties where reactive Chinese drywall was removed. Stephen also worked for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.
