She also has extensive experience evaluating environmental hazards in the built environment, including asbestos, lead paint, and bacterial and microbial contamination.
Amanda is a senior industrial hygienist who has managed and conducted evaluations for indoor air quality issues, air monitoring for various contaminants, and exposure monitoring in commercial and industrial settings. She has project experience in various properties, including commercial, industrial, multi-family, educational facilities, medical facilities, hotels, and resorts.
Amanda holds a Master of Industrial and Organizational Psychology with an emphasis in Leadership and Organizational Wellness from Adler University, a Certificate in Industrial Hygiene Management from Columbia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University. Her diverse background in science, business leadership, and consulting gives her a unique approach to serving clients, backed by science, an integrative systems approach, and personal experience.
Amanda has managed large loss claims globally for insurance markets in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates. She serves as Vice President in the Industrial Hygiene in the Built Environment service line of J.S. Held's Environmental, Health & Safety practice. In this role, she is responsible for business development, technical investigations, and leadership support within the service line.
