The practice area quantifies economic damages arising from Intellectual Property disputes and provides general litigation support.
Ms. Hofmann began her career in intellectual property disputes in 2013. She supports clients in all phases of the litigation process from discovery to trial and has worked on cases covering various technologies and industries, including consumer electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and semiconductors, among others, and various intellectual properties, including patents, copyrights, trademark, and trade secrets. Many engagements have involved the evaluation and analysis of financial data used to either support or rebut the quantification of lost profits, reasonable royalties, and/or unjust enrichment.
Ms. Hofmann holds an MBA from Rice University's Jones Graduate School of Business and a B.S. with a double major in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Sociology.
