Angelique Brelsford is a fine jewelry and wristwatch appraiser with a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America (AAA) in Gems and Jewelry. She has a background in the identification and assessment of diamonds and gemstones and project management for jewelry insurance claims.

With over 19 years of experience in the jewelry industry, Angelique has designed and handcrafted bespoke jewelry pieces for private clients and retail boutiques, served as a sales professional in a midrange jewelry store, and acted as an intermediary in significant diamond resale transactions.

As a fine jewelry appraiser, she has performed thousands of appraisals for myriad purposes, including inventory appraisals for insurance policies, diminution of value appraisals, and post-loss valuations for high-net-worth clientele. Angelique has served as a speaker and presenter at national conferences and webinars, sharing her experience on topics including market analyses, jewelry fraud in insurance claims, and the critical role of provenance in appraisal review. In addition, she has been contracted by insurance carrier special investigation units to perform case reviews and in-depth research, as well as advise on loss timelines and areas of further investigation.
