Anne Johnston has almost 20 years supporting of toxicology, industrial hygiene, and engineering projects. She holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She completed the certificate in Applied Biostatistics from the University of Washington.
Anne is a Project Manager on projects related to human and environmental toxicology, exposure assessment, and risk assessments. She provides technical support by compiling and critically analyzing information and data from multiple scientific fields, including toxicology, industrial hygiene, statistics, risk assessment, and engineering. Project experience includes reconstructing dose and exposure, modeling, and assessing risk to communities and workers from occupational exposures. Extensive knowledge of asbestos-related health effects and historical development of medical knowledge and federal and state regulations pertaining to asbestos. Anne’s writing and presentation skills support scientific publication and health litigation, including evaluating plaintiffs’ occupational histories, preparing for depositions and trials.
Anne is a member of Society of Toxicology, the Pacific Northwest Association of Toxicologists, and the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
