Summary of Experience:

Doug Miller brings more than 15 years of professional experience in structural engineering design and forensic building analysis. Mr. Miller has experience with private residential and commercial clients, planning, zoning and building departments, general and subcontractors, attorney clients, independent insurance adjusters, public adjusters, insurance claim professionals and various other professional consultants.

Mr. Miller’s engineering practice and experience has included evaluations pertaining to alleged wind, hail, snow, hurricane, tornado, earthquake, flood, and vibration damage. He has also investigated claims and cases involving moisture intrusion, roofing conditions, foundation movement, and alleged damage to concrete and masonry fence and retaining walls, in-ground swimming pools, concrete slabs, driveways, flatwork, and interior and exterior building finishes. Mr. Miller has also provided assistance on mold and wildfire contamination claims.

Mr. Miller has applied this extensive engineering background experience to litigation support for insurance claims and construction defect cases. In addition, he provides structural failure analysis, structural design, and repair recommendations in compliance with the applicable building code.

Mr. Miller is licensed as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in 13 states throughout the nation.
