Dr. Eric Drabkin evaluates economic damages and provides expert testimony in business, personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, landlord-tenant disputes, and employment and labor litigation.

Prior to joining J.S. Held, Dr. Eric Drabkin was a Senior Consulting Economist at Cohen Volk Economic Consulting Group in Walnut Creek, CA. Eric has also previously held the position of Managing Director at Berkeley Research Group and, prior to that, Senior Economic Consultant at Cohen, Volk, and Drabkin. In addition to consulting work, Eric is currently an adjunct faculty member at Hawaii Pacific University and was previously an Associate Professor of Economics there for 19 years. 

Eric addresses economic questions and damages quantification across a wide range of litigation. Eric has been retained and has testified in hundreds of matters throughout his career. Eric applies rigorous economic logic and techniques in his analyses and testimony.

Eric holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California at Los Angeles. He also holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, a Diploma in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
