As a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Graham is experienced in all aspects building, infrastructure, civil / heavy engineering and petrochemical projects where he has provided advice on a variety of contractual arrangements including those based on client’s design and design and build contracts for both private and public sector projects.
Graham has extensive experience in the commercial and contractual management of projects ranging from retail, high specification offices, hospitals and wastewater treatment plants to major civil engineering projects, airports, multi-storey offices, hotels, stadia and residential buildings. Graham’s experience also includes work for major client and contracting organizations involved in the petrochemical and power transmission industries.
Complementing his Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration experience and qualifications, Graham’s main sphere of interest and focus over the past 20 years has been in relation to the development of contractual claim and / or defense documents with particular focus on the amicable resolution of disputes that arise in the construction, civil engineering and petrochemical industries.
Graham has successfully undertaken postgraduate qualifications in the field of international commercial arbitration. He has been commissioned by a prominent UAE-based contractor to act as Arbitration Manager on a multi-million-dollar dispute and has significant experience in helping party appointed Quantum Experts.
