Hamish Davidson, CTP, FCBI, is a Managing Director in J.S. Held’s Strategic Advisory Group with over 30 years of experience in commercial and financial management. He has worked in commercial banking, corporate treasury, and asset management in the aviation, aerospace, and manufacturing sectors and has served as an advisor to law firms, lessors, debt and equity investors, insurance companies, privately held businesses, and commercial banks. He has also served as interim CEO, CFO, and COO for businesses in the United States and overseas.
Hamish is an innovator in the areas of turnaround and restructuring, corporate finance, risk assessment, organizational resizing, and divestiture strategy, and has built a considerable knowledge of turnarounds in multiple global locations. He is known for maximizing value from distressed situations and has worked with creditors’ committees and liquidating trusts of several bankrupt airlines.
Hamish is a Certified Turnaround Professional, Chartered Banker, and Fellow of the Chartered Banker Institute in the United Kingdom. He has a strong understanding of international business, having worked across the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and Latin and South America. He is fluent in English and French.
