Igor N. Gaca has over 16 years of commercial building industry experience, providing scheduling, estimating, construction monitoring, project representation, and claims consulting services on behalf of public and private owners, GC and CM firms, trade and specialty contractors, design firms, and sureties on a multitude of project types and across multiple industry sectors.

Early in his career, Igor was on-site for over three years providing day-to-day, field construction scheduling support services on a $55M psychiatric hospital renovation and had spent nearly two years as an on-site Owner’s representative on a construction of a $27M data center. Igor was also tested when he was one of the first personnel on the ground to perform due diligence on, and then complete, 13 projects in Chicago on which a contractor defaulted.

As a consultant to the construction industry, Igor has worked on schools, universities, libraries, hospitals, courthouses, correctional institutions, multi-family housing, hotels, stadia, industrial manufacturing, wastewater, oil and gas, data centers, high-rise structures, and various military, infrastructure, and breakwater construction projects.

Igor specializes in analysis and development of construction claims including acceleration, delay, disruption, loss-of-productivity, scope changes, payment, termination, cost of corrective work, and errors & omissions- while incorporating new business intelligence analytics and e-Discovery technologies to efficiently facilitate resolution of complex construction disputes.
