Jeff Green joins J.S. Held with over 14 years of experience as an expert in forensic damage assessment, analysis and testing of roofing, siding and other building components. As a Lab Manager, Jeff gained valuable and extensive experience for a forensic engineering company leading a lab team to an ISO 17025 laboratory, accreditation by the International Accreditation Services (IAS). He is a contributing author for multiple technical publications about roofing and building materials. Jeff also helped develop several patented tools and education curriculum used in the roofing and insurance industries today.
Jeff has performed forensic testing on thousands of roofing and building component samples throughout the US for engineers, consultants, attorneys, adjusters, architects, building owners, contractors, and manufacturers. He has extensive knowledge of roofing materials, installation procedures and test standards and has performed developmental testing for industry manufacturers to establish hail warranties and solve code-related issues.
Jeff is a Registered Roof Consultant (RRC) with International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC), certified Level 1 Infrared Thermographer and Haag Certified Inspector for Residential, Commercial and Wind Damage.
