During his 30 years as a commercial construction professional, Jeff Nicholson’s career has brought him extensive experience in the electrical, mechanical, and life safety fields. He has specialized in healthcare construction as well and has been certified by American Society of Healthcare Engineers (ASHE) as a Health Care Constructor. Jeff also has training in Infection Control and Assessment (ICRA). As a member of the J.S. Held team, Jeff has been involved with hundreds of recovery efforts ranging from small to large claims with multiple sites related to single claims state wide.

Jeff has a diverse background in construction consulting with a concentration in the commercial building restoration sector of the business. Prior to his time at J.S. Held, Jeff held the role as a senior project manager with a several general contracting firms, giving him the experience to know and understand the structures, building systems, and finishes in commercial buildings. His work in commercial construction also provided the opportunity to work with an international hotel developer where Jeff worked on teams building large hotels. Jeff’s experience includes controlling costs on a variety size of recovery projects, job-site monitoring, and working with contractors and other consultants to provide project controls.
