Jack Turner is an Environmental Scientist II specializing in environmental due diligence, site remediation, and emergency spill response. Working as part of an incredibly talented team from the Summit, New Jersey office, it is his passion and privilege to help clients navigate the dynamic landscape of environmental compliance.
Jack began his career in environmental due diligence in 2016 with Brennan Environmental, Inc., which joined the J.S. Held family in February 2020. At J.S. Held, Jack continues to manage multiple clients and projects across the tri-state area, concentrating in northern New Jersey. His primary responsibilities include client outreach, vendor correspondence, cost estimates & proposal preparation, project design and management, technical writing, training, emergency spill response, site assessments/inspections, soil/groundwater/air sampling, in-situ/ex-situ remediation activities, and other project-specific tasks.
Jack holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Fordham University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. By enhancing strategic planning and cross-sector partnerships, Jack aims to establish sustainable leadership within the industry to enable clients to manage complexity and benefit from change. Combining both his experience in the environmental consulting industry & technical knowledge in classroom, Jack brings a unique perspective and a broad set of skills to each project.
