Johnny Lim, CIH, is a Certified Industrial Hygienist and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) leader with over 15 years of experience across biotechnology, medical device manufacturing, pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing, defense and aerospace, and other industries. Johnny has assessed moisture- and fire-impacted structures and brings extensive experience developing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs.
Johnny’s expertise includes evaluating biological, physical, and chemical hazards; implementing potent compound control banding; and working within EHS management systems such as Cority. He has developed and managed Biosafety Level 1 and 2 programs and specializes in qualitative risk assessments and compliance data analysis. Johnny also has experience responding to regulatory inquiries from local and state agencies.
At J.S. Held, Johnny develops and delivers safety training programs across diverse workplace environments, including bloodborne pathogens, chemical hygiene, injury and illness prevention, hazard communication, personal protective equipment (PPE), emergency procedures, and site-specific hazards. He tailors training to facility operations, employee roles, and regulatory requirements while supporting documentation and ongoing compliance.
Johnny holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health, with a minor in Microbiology and Food Safety Science, from Colorado State University.
