Kelvin Ng brings over 20 years of experience in the construction and civil engineering industries. He has been appointed as an independent delay expert on matters involving parties from Asia, Australia, Europe, and the United States. His roles have included delay expert advisor, lead assistant to the named expert, claims analyst, planner, and programmer across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, power generation (renewable and non-renewable), oil and gas, process plants, desalination, water and wastewater treatment, mining, marine and port structures, healthcare, and high-rise developments. Kelvin has also been appointed as an independent delay expert and scheduler by legal counsel and insurers/reinsurers in insurance-related disputes across Asia and Australia.
He is experienced in delivering both written and oral expert evidence in domestic and international arbitration, court proceedings, and adjudications. His project background spans roles in project management, estimating, contract administration, construction planning and programming, project controls, and forensic delay analysis on projects located in Asia, Australia, the US, the Netherlands, the Middle East, Africa, and New Zealand.
Fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese, Kelvin has been instructed by Chinese counsel representing major international Chinese contractors in arbitration proceedings. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Laws in Construction Law and Arbitration.
