Kush Dave is an Associate in the Economic Damages and Valuations practice at J.S. Held, based in India. He brings a strong foundation in finance, supported by an MBA, with a concentration in financial management, and practical experience gained through internships and academic engagements in accounting, financial analysis, and consulting.
In his current role, Kush contributes to the quantification of economic damages related to business interruption claims and loss-of-profit disputes. His responsibilities include conducting financial assessments, analyzing income and expenses, projecting losses, and evaluating additional costs and property damage. His work supports the delivery of data-driven insights and expert evaluations within the broader objectives of the Economic Damages and Valuations team.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Kush held internship positions at a leading life sciences company and a prominent Indian publishing firm. In these roles, he gained experience in invoice processing, account reconciliation, audit preparation, competitive analysis, and strategic product research. These experiences provided him with a practical understanding of financial operations and market dynamics.
Kush holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from a recognized institution in India. He has also earned a certification in Power BI dashboard creation from PwC Switzerland, and is proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and Power BI. He is currently expanding his technical capabilities by learning Python and Tableau, further enhancing his analytical toolkit.
