Leyla Aydin is an Environmental Scientist at J.S. Held, working primarily in environmental remediation projects in the utility industry. Her involvement in hundreds of projects concerning fuel and oil discharges to soil and water has allowed her to develop extensive knowledge of state and federal sampling requirements, as well as remediation standards and criteria. Her responsibilities include performing site assessments, developing remediation protocols, sampling soil, water, and fuel/oil sources, contractor oversight, data evaluation, and state reporting and documentation.
Leyla directs soil remediations of dielectric fluid spills and has shown competency in subcontractor coordination and maintaining site safety. Due to her field experience, she assists in the planning and coordination of remedial activities for more complex sites. She also manages all laboratory analytical results for the utility program, evaluates data for regulatory compliance, and communicates findings to clients. She is a collaborative individual who enjoys working closely with clients to develop innovative solutions.
