Maria brings forensic architectural skills and extensive experience with 2D and 3D modeling infrastructure projects, as well as commercial, healthcare, and other projects to J.S. Held. Maria’s career spans several years as a BIM Specialist and Facade Architect working in building construction at Desimone Consulting Engineers. She has provided modeling assessments to large infrastructure projects throughout North and South America.

Her work at J.S. Held consists primarily of Loss Information Modeling System coordination (LIMS™), building conditions analysis, onsite damage assessments, repair/reconstruction estimate modeling development, information management in support forensic investigations, and providing technical information for litigation support. Maria has provided consultative services, performed complex 3D models, investigated and coordinated interference between different models around large projects: structural, architectural, and mechanical, and electrical and plumbing (MEP); conducted quantities takeoff for skyscraper façades in order to evaluate the building heat loss, scheduled and reviewed documents, and provided specific 2D and 3D details for construction monitoring.

Maria holds a degree in architecture from the National University of Colombia and an MS in Real Estate Management from the same institution. She is also certificated by Autodesk on Revit, AutoCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
