Marina Banuta joined J.S. Held in January of 2025 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of Technorm Inc. Marina has over 25 years of experience in materials and metallurgical engineering. She conducts forensic investigations in various fields such as industrial, hydro-power generation, maritime, manufacturing, chemical, petrochemical, food and beverage, and oil and gas. She also performs failure investigations on metallic materials in complex equipment failures, examinations of all types of materials in the laboratory, and corrosion investigations.

Marina has conducted over 1,000 investigations and testified as an expert witness in several cases tried by the Québec courts of law.
