Matthew Cinelli is a Senior Project Manager with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. His experience includes new construction, interior fit-outs and renovations, commercial mixed-use facilities, extended care facilities, educational and health care facilities, government buildings, and projects within the renewable energy sector. Matthew is experienced in Contract Negotiation and Project Mitigation processes that have proven results on project related concerns for the project stakeholders for mutually favorable results.
At J.S Held, Matthew provides representation on defaulted projects and project completion monitoring roles. Matthew oversees construction projects on site, providing project representation, construction, and takeover monitoring. He has directly overseen monthly reporting responsibilities, document control programs, progress billings, change order reviews, and all project management responsibilities while managing completion contractors for public and private sector projects. He also provides comprehensive analyses of contractor default situations, estimate and claims reviews, contract administration, as well as prepares costs-to-complete estimates, inspects defective works, and provides management of works for completion contractors.
Prior to joining J.S Held, Matthew was a project manager for a large-scale electrical contractor. Matthew currently holds his master electrician license in the provinces of Ontario and Alberta. He has collaborated with countless project teams to ensure the integrity of the project is represented within the project budget. Mathew utilizes his proficiency in Value Engineering, Design Build, Design Assist, Project Estimation, Change Order management, and all project close out management and turnover procedures.
