Matthew "Matt" Joy has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry. He provides construction consulting and expert services, specializing in schedule preparation and review, time impact analyses, preparation and defense of delay, disruption and acceleration claims, surety, construction management, and project completion oversight.

Matt prepares baseline, update, and impact analysis schedules. He has consulted and testified on numerous construction claims, including hundreds of delay claim analyses and settlement negotiations for both affirmative claims and claim defense. His experience with surety work includes all aspects of performance for defaulted contractors, including project status assessments, cost-to-complete analyses, rebid/award for completion contracts, project completion management, and payment and performance bond claim investigations. Matt also provides consulting services on project costs, such as repair analyses, cost control, quality control, and fund control.

In addition to his construction consulting experience, Matt has worked in the residential construction sector, with experience in land development, purchasing management, and project management in custom home and master-planned community development operations.
