Summary of Experience:

Mike is an Environmental Scientist II specializing in environmental site investigation and remediation and is based out of J.S. Held’s Summit, New Jersey office. Mike has extensive project experience in environmental investigation and remediation, industrial hygiene and environmental, health and safety throughout New Jersey, New York State, and other Northeastern states working on various projects in a variety of markets, including commercial, energy and utility, construction, real estate and municipal. Mike has both independently and collaboratively successfully completed projects including but not limited to New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection site and remedial investigations, phase II environmental site assessments, regulated building material surveys and indoor air quality assessments.

In addition to technical site investigation and remediation experience, Mike has project management experience including maintaining client relations, business development, scope of work development, project cost and proposal development, budget tracking, project procurement and sub-contractor coordination. In Mike’s current role with J.S. Held, he works intimately with senior staff members on technical New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Site Remediation Program projects predominantly focusing on soil and groundwater investigation and remediation on commercial and industrial properties throughout New Jersey.
