Moira McKee has over fifteen years of experience advancing strategic approaches to business development. As a personal property appraiser, Moira has worked closely with adjusters and high-net-worth (HNW) policyholders in catastrophic post-loss scenarios and on complex claims that require finely tuned sensitivity and professionalism.
Moira completed Appraisal Studies in Fine and Decorative Arts at New York University (NYU) and holds a Master of Arts in Art History and Curatorial Studies and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Art History and Criticism from the University of Western Ontario (UWO). She is an accredited member of the Canadian Personal Property Appraisers Organization (CPPAO) and has advised private clients and conducted appraisals for Fortune 500 Global companies, commercial enterprises, banks, international law firms, auction houses, and cultural institutions.
Moira has presented on topics such as ‘Contemporary Art as an Alternative Investment’ in collaboration with CIBC, ‘Building Frameworks for Response in the Aftermath of the 2025 Los Angeles Wildfires’ with the American Institute of Conservation, and ‘Fraud at Play: Theatrics in Insurance Claims’ with Kasi Law. A keynote lecturer with the CPPAO, she has provided expert witness testimony in dispute resolution proceedings, including divorce mediation. With a background in industry intelligence and art market analysis, Moira has been consulted as an expert for The New Yorker, ARTnews, and CBC.
