He has led software solution implementation, support, and selection programs for large enterprise clients, and has developed comprehensive environmental compliance plans, procedures, and guidance documents to meet regulatory requirements. Peter’s expertise includes preparing and reviewing environmental permit applications, providing on-site compliance support, and delivering environmental, health, and safety technical guidance to industry personnel. He has also coordinated air emissions testing projects and is known for building strong client relationships while managing and mentoring junior and mid-level staff.
At J.S. Held, Peter serves as a Director for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) solution implementation, support, and selection projects, and acts as a Senior Project Technical Lead, Project Manager, Architect, and Business Analyst for EHS and ESG solution initiatives. He is skilled in documenting both functional and technical requirements and translating them into system functionality. He has experience in gap analyses, identifying system limitations, and ensuring high-quality implementation, validation, and testing deliverables while managing key relationships within J.S. Held’s project teams, clients, and partners to support successful project outcomes.
Peter holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health from Illinois State University, both with an emphasis in water quality and treatment.
