Dr. Sarvenaz Vandyousefi is a licensed Registered Dietitian and Senior Managing Food & Nutrition Scientist Consultant at J.S. Held, specializing in food safety, nutrition science, and regulatory affairs. She holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and brings deep expertise in obesity research, dietary intake assessment, and human health risk evaluation.

Dr. Vandyousefi has extensive experience in regulatory submissions, including GRAS determinations, Food Additive Petitions, and Drug Master Files, aligning with standards from the FDA, EFSA, Health Canada, and JECFA. She is well-versed in U.S. food safety and nutrition policies (FDA, USDA, CDC) and supports clients with scientific substantiation of nutrition labeling and health claims, as well as regulatory compliance assessments. 

Her academic appointment as Research Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine reflects her commitment to advancing nutrition science through research and education. She has authored over 30 peer-reviewed publications and presented at numerous national scientific conferences.
