Shannon Hicks brings over 25 years of experience in federal law enforcement, having retired from service as a Special Agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF). She spent eight years on ATF’s National Response Team, specializing in fire and explosion scene investigations, and holds Certified Fire Investigator credentials from both ATF and the International Association of Arson Investigators (IAAI).

During her last six years with ATF, Shannon investigated and supported the prosecution of federal fire and explosion cases, providing expert testimony in U.S. District Courts across the Southern US.  Her focus is on fire and explosion investigations in commercial, residential, and industrial settings, as well as automotive incidents.
