Tony Carroll has over 35 years of experience across new construction, remodeling, restoration, masonry, roofing, project scheduling, and construction clerking. He has worked closely with adjusters, contractors, consultants, and engineers on complex property losses spanning commercial, hospitality, education, agricultural, military, industrial, and residential sectors.
Tony provides expert and litigation support, including deposition testimony and participation in more than 30 appraisal proceedings, offering technical analysis and scope expertise in disputed property loss matters.
His background includes owning and operating a construction project management firm, serving as a sales representative for building suppliers, and working as a project supervisor and estimator in the restoration sector. He has played key roles in large-scale disaster recovery efforts, including hurricanes, derechos, hailstorms, fires, floods, and water damage, and is recognized for leading multidisciplinary consulting teams on high-exposure and technically challenging losses.
At J.S. Held, Tony manages projects ranging from small residential claims to multi-million-dollar commercial losses, including high-impact events in the US, Puerto Rico, and the Caribbean.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Coaching Certificate from Peru State University, and has coaching experience at the collegiate and high school levels.
