The Situation

As Assignee in the Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors (“ABC”) for a chain of 11 shuttered, insolvent medical clinics, our experts achieved a $5M recovery for unsecured creditors and eliminated approximately $5M in lease obligations.

How We Advised

Our team optimized the recovery for all creditors and avoided additional liabilities.

Our experts sold assets to various buyers and negotiated with landlords to avoid approximately $5M in future lease obligations. We initiated litigation resulting in $5M settlement for unsecured creditors, as well as managed the claims process and creditor communications.
