Following the sale of the Company to an equity fund that was largely funded by a hedge fund, the Company experienced a significant decline in its operating performance. As a result, the Company entered into bankruptcy to seek the sale of its assets to a specific buyer, a new equity fund.
Our experts were hired by the capital hedge fund, the Company’s senior lender, to perform due diligence in its efforts to determine the best plan for monetizing its interest in the Company. We collaborated with the lender to develop a plan to fund a new equity group with expertise in direct response. J.S. Held assisted with the evaluation of the Company’s management team, product line-up, and prospects with new ownership. This work assisted with the successful continuation of this brand.
