Adam R. Fillmore has over 13 years of professional experience in industrial hygiene, safety, and environmental management. Adam has managed teams of industrial hygiene and safety professionals as the Industrial Hygiene Project Manager. He has provided industrial hygiene and safety consulting services to Fortune 500 companies within multiple industries: manufacturing, aerospace, construction, power plant, waste management, and oil and gas. He has managed several research and development, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical companies’ EH&S programs. He has also provided subject matter expertise to numerous Navy commands addressing industrial hygiene and safety matters. Adam has been recognized as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Adam also has expertise in: industrial hygiene, OSHA and Cal/OSHA compliance, environmental management, facility wide safety audits, job hazard analysis, indoor air quality, ergonomics, hazardous materials, hazardous waste management, site specific EH&S program development and implementation, safety trainings, accident investigation, and root cause analysis, EH&S management systems, permits, and preparation/ liaison for all common state and local regulatory inspections.
Adam worked on the BP Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill Emergency Response Project having the position as the CIH State Lead. He provided incident command oversight and direction to multiple teams of industrial hygienists and safety professionals. He rotated in and out of Mississippi, Louisiana, and Florida acting as the CIH State Lead. He was responsible for evaluating numerous operations for exposure and safety concerns and making recommendations for corrective action.
