Anthony J. Lardaro has more than 30 years of professional experience in the areas of engineering, project management, CPM scheduling, construction claims preparation and evaluation and surety claim investigations. Tony’s projects have included sewage treatment plants, power plants, office buildings, schools, hotels, hospitals, airports, institutional and industrial buildings, rapid transit systems, multi-housing projects, tunnels, highways and sports arenas/stadiums.
As a construction and surety claims consultant, Tony has performed impact claims analyses, made liability assessments, determined costs to complete, prepared exposure analyses and updates, solicited and negotiated completion contracts, maintained cash flow projections, managed completion of takeover projects, evaluated and negotiated payment bond claims, and acted as technical liaison for legal counsel. As a construction claims analyst, he has prepared numerous forensic analyses involving schedule impacts, liability assessments, production inefficiency and cost overruns.
In his role as a CPM scheduling consultant, Tony has worked for both contractors and owners and has been responsible for the preparation/oversight of resource/cost-loaded CPM schedules and narrative monthly updates including detailed network logic diagrams, resource reports, cost reports, critical path analysis and delay/recovery options. This responsibility has included attendance at progress meetings, presentation of current schedule status and time-impact analyses and evaluations/settlement of claims
Tony has been qualified as an expert and has provided expert witness testimony at mediation, arbitration and in state court on cases in the areas of time-impact analyses and resultant damages arising from productivity loss, extended general conditions, idle equipment, unabsorbed overhead and wage/material/equipment escalations. Additionally, Tony has provided litigation support, including assembly of trial graphics/exhibits, witness preparation, document discovery, interrogatory preparation and deposition assistance.
