Benjamin began his professional career four years ago, while still pursuing his professional studies. Benjamin was a scholar in project management of a water supply and treatment system for the Bajío area in Mexico. He used this project as a way to acquire additional experience in financial issues and project management of large-scale engineering
Subsequently, and to date, he has been involved in the construction field, covering residential and commercial projects, performing the tasks of work supervision, and budget preparation.
Benjamin’s career took a larger professional jump when the 2017 Mexico City earthquake occurred. The abundance of work which derived from the disaster and the numerous types of losses he experienced, allowed him to quickly learn the damage assessment area in different types of civil works such as: residential, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure. In addition, he also obtained a greater understanding of estimation methodologies, calculation of budgets, structures, and construction processes.
During the month of October 2017 and January 2018 Benjamin was present in Puerto Rico, U.S.A., to carry out valuation work for damages in homes caused by hurricane María. He attended more than 50 losses and made corresponding valuations. This catastrophe allowed him to extend his work experience to an international rank and allowed him to work in conjunction with professionals of different nationalities.
