Robert Leiter has
been in the construction industry for more than 50 years and has been providing
construction consulting for nearly half that time, lending his knowledge and
expertise to many losses in manufacturing facilities, casinos, universities and
food processing plants. Prior to his
involvement in the consulting arena, Bob ran a commercial millwork business in
the Detroit area.
Bob was the
construction consultant on notable large and complex losses including the
Merrill Lynch World Financial Center, The Millennium Hotel at Ground Zero, and
multiple catastrophic events in the New York/New Jersey area resulting from
Superstorm Sandy. He also has extensive
knowledge of hospital and medical facilities that include the Stanford Medical
Center.
Bob has acted as
both an appraiser and umpire on diverse and complicated losses and has
extensive experience providing expert testimony. He is a court approved Civil Mediator and
holds a builders license in the state of Michigan. He also has IICRC
certificates, as well as being a certified appraiser and umpire.
