Prior to becoming the Vice President and Operations Manager, Brian Beatty served as the Assistant Vice President for the J.S. Held Denver office focusing on construction consulting, property loss, and project management. Brian joins J.S. Held with over 20 years of construction experience specializing in cost estimating, project management, and loss consulting. He is also an acting commissioner on the Planning & Zoning committee for the City of Centennial, CO.
Before joining J.S. Held, Brian spent 10 years with a competing firm in both the Denver and Atlanta as a project consultant. He has experience in cost estimating for property loss claims and his background in construction has allowed him to work on a wide variety of projects. He has been involved in the evaluation of disasters caused by fire, flood, hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, snowstorms, structural failures, and work in construction defects. He has evaluated multiple structure types; single/multifamily residential properties, manufacturing warehouses, parking garages, hotels, office complexes, highrise structures, and government buildings.
Brian’s prior experience includes being the airport manager of a private airfield north of Atlanta, GA. The airport was undergoing a full scale renovation and restructuring. Brian was hired to oversee the construction and airfield operations during the growth period. As airport manager, he handled projects relating to FAA rules and regulations, construction management, and project coordination. Brian also owned and operated his own construction company focusing on small to medium sized renovations of residential and commercial properties.
