Erich’s experience spans more than 30 years in commercial, residential, industrial, and underground utility construction and consulting. He has held project superintendent, project manager, and estimator roles for large scale contractors and restoration firms. In addition, for eight years Erich worked in the Surety Consulting Filed as a Project Manager and Owner’s Representative. His responsibilities included cost estimation, project design development, risk management, project scheduling, and plan review.
Erich has also worked in the catastrophe mitigation industry. He has performed large-scale program management services for evaluating damage losses in the wakes of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav, Ike, and Isaac. He provided project management, site supervision, estimating, and contract administration for a variety of clients including healthcare and school board facilities.
With J.S. Held, Erich has been actively involved in scoping and documenting loss related damages and preparing cost estimates for losses ranging from residential water losses to large scale multi-million-dollar losses. His knowledge and experience have also proven to be useful tools in preparing expert reports used in quickly settling claims.
