Summary of Experience:
Greg Beste brings more than thirty years of professional experience in architectural design and management, forensic building analysis, property condition assessments, code review, construction management, and construction monitoring. Mr. Beste has conducted technical investigations of construction defects, incidents or losses related to all types of real estate property including office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels and motels, warehouse and industrial buildings, parking garages, retail strip centers and stand-alone stores, nursing homes, private residences and mobile home parks. He has been responsible for conducting and reviewing Property Condition Assessments (PCA) scopes including ASTM E2018, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and client specific requirements to facilitate real estate loan and acquisition transactions. Such projects have ranged in scope and complexity from low-rise apartment complexes, to high rise multi-family towers.
Mr. Beste’s architectural practice and experience has included custom private residences, clubhouse facilities, church and supporting religious spaces, general office buildings and retail shopping centers. Architectural services provided included design, project management, code review, construction documents, specifications, construction administration, natural disaster assessments, forensic building envelope evaluations and property condition assessments.
Mr. Beste has experience with residential developers, private residential clients, religious organizations, commercial developers, planning, zoning and building departments, general contractors and various other professional consultants. He has served on private and public architectural review boards and has been a consultant to clients as an owner’s representative, project facilitator reviewing construction issues and as a third-party construction site inspector.
Mr. Beste has applied this extensive architectural background experience to projects concerning construction defects, construction litigation, source of water intrusion, building envelope issues associated with roof, windows, doors, stucco, EFIS and waterproofing details.
