Jeffrey Chimento is an experienced Safety Specialist with primary focuses on mold and water damage; remote sensing; asbestos supervision and inspection; air monitoring; and industrial hygiene. Jeffrey has worked as an environmental consultant for mold and water damage in response to hurricane insurance claims resulting from hurricanes: Charley, Dennis Frances, Ivan, Jeanne, Katrina, Ike, and Gustav. Jeffrey has also developed, maintained, conducted spatial analysis, and imported coordinates of oil well locations into the ArcGIS_v3.3 and ArcGIS_v9.2 databases.
Jeffrey has performed wetlands delineation in various locations, performed environmental oversight and testing for asbestos abatement and presence, respectfully. Jeffrey has also done Chinese drywall inspection and utilized X-Ray Fluorescence spectrometer and video borescope during inspections.
Jeffrey graduated with a Masters of Science in Geographic Information Systems/Remote Sensing from Louisiana State University and is certified to conduct mold/water damage evaluations and remediation oversights, Geographic Information Systems (GIS)/remote sensing, global positioning systems, asbestos and lead inspections, and Chinese Drywall inspections.
