Summary of Experience:
Jonathan Clarkson’s training, experience and practice include geophysical surveys, geotechnical investigations and environmental assessments. Jonathan has conducted and interpreted hundreds of ground penetrating radar (GPR) surveys from detecting voids, rebar and post-tension cables within concrete slabs, to large square mile GPR surveys to identify potential sinkhole activity. In addition to GPR surveys, he has also conducted and interpreted large scale microgravity surveys, resistivity surveys and electrical resistivity imaging (ERI) surveys.
Jonathan has completed over 500 structural and geotechnical investigations. His experience includes designing field explorations, remediation recommendations, conducting damage assessments, floor surveys, hand augers, hand cone penetrometers and test pits. Performing these investigations has provided an excellent understanding of Florida’s geology throughout the state.
Environmental experience includes numerous asbestos surveys on residential homes to large commercial structures. In addition to performing surveys, provided assistance to clients with regulatory agencies and abatement contractors. Mr. Clarkson has also conducted wetland delineations and protected species assessments on small to large commercial properties. In addition to performing delineations, provided permitting assistance to clients with regulatory agencies such as ACOE and SWFWMD. Jonathan also has experience in conducting Phase I ESAs and other various consulting services.
