Matthew Erndt studied Architecture at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI where he holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture proceeded by a Building Information Modeling [BIM] certification in 2011 where he studied building science and the interaction of building systems.
Prior to J.S. Held, Matthew worked in Dallas, Texas alongside the national partner for a global architecture firm designing and managing multi-family housing and mixed-use facilities for many development companies across North America. In this role, Matthew designed interior and exterior commercial and living spaces and eventually led him to his career as the Director of Construction for a local Detroit, Michigan general contracting and restoration firm where he facilitated and managed the construction department as well as asset management, building strong relationships with clients. Matthew joined the firm in 2012 and quickly became an integral part of the success and growth of the company, where his dedication, hard work, and strong work ethic has allowed him to be one of the industry’s leading professionals.
Matthew is an active community member at his local Chamber of Commerce, as well as, serving as a community advocate in the local Public-School District.
