Michael E. Sailsman is a multi-disciplined professional with over 25 years of experience in the telecommunication public safety industry. Michael specializes in radiation exposure compliance and regulatory affairs engineering applicable to environment health, public safety, and human exposure to electromagnetic energy from wireless communication devices. Michael has experience implementing ISO 17025 accredited test laboratory standards, managing compliance assessments, data evaluations, and multinational regulatory reporting in the electromagnetic energy dosimetry field.
In the last four years, Michael transitioned his career into a broader field of environmental engineering and public health by proactively earning a graduate advanced certificate in environmental management and achieving the ASP, CSP, REHS, and CEHP credentials among other pertinent certifications including ESRI GIS training. Michael is also a Florida licensed Mold Related Services Assessor (MRSA).
As an independent contractor during career transition, Michael was site IEP hygienist at a 320,000 sq. ft. (GLA) Simon Premium Outlet Mall restoration project in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria. Michael conducted initial moisture mapping assessments of 80 impacted retail stores as well as associated common spaces, managed remediation oversight, and post remediation verification (PRV) clearance responsibilities. Michael provided sub-contracted IAQ hygienist services at the Ritz Carlton Naples, FL and Marriott Harbor Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Among other restoration projects after hurricane Irma, Michael also has experience working with various construction environmental health and safety consulting companies investigating and responding to county and federal government RFPs.
