Summary of Experience:
Robin Davies’ training, experience, and practice includes structural engineering and forensic investigations.
Within the structural engineering arena, Robin has assisted in the design, analysis and evaluation of wood frame, concrete, masonry, and steel structures. Her design responsibilities have included reinforced concrete foundation design, Insulating Concrete Form (ICF) wall design, hollow core slab elevated floor design, and structural steel roof system design.
Within the forensic arena, Robin has performed cause and origin investigations pertaining to water damage, wind damage, construction/design failures and damage resulting from subsurface mechanisms. Robin has also participated in field data acquisition, research, document review, coordination as well as observation of destructive testing, and information management in support of forensic investigations and construction monitoring.
