Ronald Cuff is a consultant with over eight years of experience in the construction industry and specific expertise in construction estimating, disaster restoration, roof evaluations, building construction, and property consulting. During this period, he has attained numerous certifications related to the industry.

Ron’s construction experience began in Southern New Jersey as a Project Manager for RCS Construction and eventually his own company. His experience and duties include project management for the construction of commercial projects such as school additions and renovations, municipal buildings and commercial warehouses. These projects included oversight of the site work, foundation and building construction, electrical, plumbing, and all finishes. Ron managed his crews and coordinated and supervised all subcontractors’ scopes. He was responsible for material procurement to meet project specifications, contract administration, scheduling, and quality control of all his projects. He has hands on experience in steel frame, as well as wood frame construction and has installed most major brands of windows, doors, wood and vinyl siding, and roofing materials. He specializes in residential and commercial roofing. 

Ron was a Senior Property Adjuster for an independent insurance adjusting firm. As an adjuster, he handled residential and commercial property claims worldwide. His duties included site inspections, scoping of damages and estimating of replacement cost. Ron has worked with all major insurance carriers on claims up to $50M. 

Since joining J.S. Held, Ron has been actively involved in scoping and documenting loss related damage and preparing repair cost estimates for property losses, builder’s risk claims, and construction defect projects. His duties include documenting damage, determining scopes of work and estimating the cost of repair for building components and finishes because of fire, water, hail, and storm loss.
