Scott Morland has a proven track record of completing large construction projects in a variety of markets including industrial and manufacturing plants, office buildings, laboratories, data centers, and projects for the federal government. Scott has developed and managed complex projects and has a sharpened understanding and approach to advising, supervising and mentoring multi-faceted, complex operations. With over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry, he has worked in various roles and titles including operations manager, project manager, contracts manager, MEPS administrator, strategic advisory, manager and coordinator, superintendent and owner/manager of a full-service HVAC and miscellaneous metals contracting company.
Scott’s background includes working on several large design-build and design-bid-build government and industrial projects designed and built complying with some of the most stringent quality and safety requirements, processes, procedures and regulations in the industry. Scot successfully promoted an environment to perform work safely in accordance with approved plans, procedures and instructions. He is often the subject matter expert for MEPS systems and a strategic advisor to project management teams for construction and risk management.
In Scott’s professional experiences, he has been involved in all phases of construction planning, from the pursuit working with estimating, subcontractors, vendors and management in selecting partnerships for design/build concepts to close out with clients commissioning agents, MEPS subcontractors and Authorities Having Jurisdiction for final acceptance, occupancy, training and documentation. He is competent with multiple software programs for scheduling, planning and communicating project objective. Scott has also assisted in support litigation and dispute resolution including, contract disputes and analysis, damages and loss profits, impact of government regulations, industry best practices, and scheduling and phasing.
