Terrance L. Nations is a fire and water damage mitigation expert specializing in structural drying, fire cleaning decontamination, odor control, mold remediation, air system cleaning and inspection. Terrance’s experience includes project management, estimating, and hands-on experience working in residential, industrial, commercial, multi-family, and healthcare facilities. He has worked on several projects involving hurricane, wind, flood, tornado, hail, fire, and mold in various locations ranging from small to large loss. Terrance performed large scale mitigation following hurricanes Charley, Frances, Ivan, and Sandy.
Terrance has extensive experience evaluating losses and scheduling needed mitigation and repairs, and has been called upon numerous times for advice regarding potential for subrogation, and best practices for performing project preparedness and execution.
Terrance also has experience in use of technology to quickly and accurately analyze complex structural drying and cost estimating. This experience includes use of moisture measuring and thermal imaging equipment, performing calculations to determine proper amount of equipment to be used, analysis of structural components to define best procedure for rapid drying versus demolition, estimation with Xaxtimate and Symbility, and determining the cost to clean and repair instead of replacement of structural and personal property items.
