Summary of Experience:
Timothy Kenneally has worked with architects, contractors and owners as an independent consultant, managing partner, project manager, and team member.
He has experience with structural design of new construction including commercial, industrial and residential type construction. The commercial structures were constructed of steel, concrete or wood and ranged in use from multistory offices to recreation centers, libraries and distribution centers, the largest of which was over 400,000 sf. The industrial facilities were constructed of steel and included a 129’ tall loadout structure holding up to 500,000 pounds of fertilizer. The foundations were supported by micro piles. The residential structures were between 5,000 sf and 15,000 sf with snow loads up to 300 psf along with very high seismic loads and constructed of wood, steel and concrete.
Timothy has worked on projects for the Army Corp of Engineers after the flooding due to hurricane Katrina. The structures ranged from an elevated concrete structure which supported a 750,000 pound generator and a 65,000 pound gate which spanned across railroad tracks. The gate’s purpose was to seal out the ocean during a hurricane. All foundations were supported on 140’ long steel H piles.
