Vince Vaulman has more than 30 years of experience working on construction projects and construction related issues including the resolution of disputes in which the insurance industry is involved. With J.S. Held since November 2012, Vince has worked on multiple complex claims specific to cost & schedule issues including power, industrial, commercial and residential projects. He assisted on the investigation, damage assessment, and quantification of reconstruction costs on many losses resultant from Superstorm Sandy in NYC including the MTA (bridges, tunnels, subway system), Port Authority of New York & New Jersey and Battery Park City.
Prior to joining J.S. Held, Vince was employed with URS Corporation, a multi-national engineering constructor, at the World Trade Center in NYC. As a URS professional, Vince worked directly with PANYNJ personal on the resolution of approximately $2.5 billion in construction disputes.
Vince has a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (Chicago) and an MS in Construction Management from Florida International University (Miami). He is a licensed general contractor, plans examiner, & building inspector and is a Certified Cost Professional (CCP). Vince has been qualified as a cost, schedule, & building expert in State/Federal Courts and has testified extensively.
