Miller Park Stadium Crane Collapse

Crane collapsed during the construction of the 43,000 person, retractable-roof, baseball stadium, resulting in significant damage to the $400 million major league baseball facility. Initial cost of repair was estimated at $120 million.

Services Provided:

  • Conducted immediate project assessment and maintained full-time on-site presence
  • Provided construction oversight of all repair activities
  • Opened channels of communication among all parties
  • Monitored work performed by contractor and subcontractors to repair damages
  • Evaluated construction project schedule
  • Documented repairs

Project Duration was two years. Returned project to pre-loss condition which enabled ontime project completion. Saved client approximately 35% of original budget estimated for repairs.
